Whatever you’re doing, stop for a moment.

  • According to those who know about such things, the amount of usable knowledge in the world had doubled in the last 24 hours. In there somewhere is something that might help you.
  • The half life of companies is getting ever shorter. Unless you’re working for yourself, you will be with another employer before long. Whose choice will it be?
  • If you are in a job with a role description and performance criteria, the chances of you being subverted by algorithms in the next ten years is uncomfortably high.
  • We become the average of the five people we most associate with. How’s that working out?

The most important thing for us, right now, is an awareness of our surroundings.
